We had the good fortune of connecting with Reco Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reco, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My Thought Process throughout my entire process of starting my business was simple, I decided to stay focus and determine to make it work. I know at the end of it all I wanted to be happy and successful at the same time. I was mentally prepared for the struggle in which I was about to endure, with the hopes of one day saying it was all worth it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Here at RDE Customs we not only customize your vehicles, we provide a one off custom experience. We are known as the custom light kings of ATLANTA, and we are the only authorized professional liquid wrap installer in the entire state! Driven by my love and passion for cars I was fortunate enough to turn this in to a full time business, allowing me to provide my customer experience to the world one client at a time. By treating each client as if their vehicle was my own I have been bless to have grown my business to have the need to have a 5000 sq foot warehouse were I have an amazing team that allow us to produce some of the best custom cars Atlanta has ever seen. This was not a easy task by no means. Countless issues and challenges tossed at us made it sometime more than others seem to be worth it at all. Again with passion and the drive to never be defeated I maid a way that work for me and my business. Every step of the way there are lessons learned. Still to this day I’m still learning lessons. One thing I will say I’ve learned so far is to know what you are worth. If I had to tell the world something about me, I would have to say come in to RDE Customs and have a taste of what we have to offer.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Im a simple laid back type person, so I’m not sure if i would be able to give the answer needed or looking for. We would hit up a nice restaurant and a nice laid back bar of some type and thats about it. I know Boring right!!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First I would have to give a shout out to my Lord and Savor Jesus Christ, for with out him none of this would be possible. I would have to give a huge shoutout to my Wife, my family and my close friends. My wife for supporting my and standing by my side thru thick and thin, for understanding that this is a dream of mine and willing to do what ever is with in her power to make it come true. My family for standing behind me thru it all, allowing me to working on their vehicles to help expand my skill set over time and always showing love and support. My close friends who all way were willing to do what ever it took to get a project completed. From the late nights to the early mornings always standing by my side. Without them I would not be here today.
