We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebel Phoenix and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebel, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be that I helped others better connect with themselves in order to pursue their passion. I hope to inspire as many as possible that our past doesn’t determine our future, and although we make mistakes, we don’t have to wear them our whole lives!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a professional published Model and Talent. I have more than 6 years if modeling experience.
I have spent the last two years building my reputation as a print/commercial/runway model in Atlanta.
I recently made my way to the runway In Miami where I collaborated with Savvi Exclusive magazine and I am currently a contestant on a new Mini-Series called “Models of Atlanta”. Our first episode is expected to air soon!

Forging my path into the modeling industry has come with plenty of ups and downs. I have faced rejection, I have dealt with gossip, I have even been scammed!! But with every adversity comes wisdom. With every “No” response there are 3 “Yes” responses.

If there was one thing I could tell the world about me I would want them to know that I believe we are what we think! The thoughts we allow to consume our minds are the things we pull to us!!
I do my very best to stay focused on the changes I want to see happen in my life, the movement and growth I want to see take place, the life changing experiences I want to have!! I believe in the power of word, thoughts and prayers!!! So be careful of the thoughts you focus on!

I will be leading Modeling and Photography Workshops in the upcoming months!! Tickets will be on sale and a link will be in my Instagram Bio soon!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I like Little 5 points and the Beltline Marketplace for shopping!!
Underground Atlanta has started coming back to life!!
I would swing through the High Museum of Art, the Trap Music Museum, and the Fernbank Museum.

I would love to do a Scavenger hunt in Piedmont park, or try and find the Red Phone Booth (shhhhhh)

There are tons of places to go and people to see in Atlanta!!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people along the way that have helped shape me into the woman I am today!!!
But if I had to name a few, I would like to shine a light on my spiritual mentor Mellodie Dourough. My incredible husband, Andrew Hollyday, for helping me learn to accept love and believe in myself. I also want to take a special moment and remember my daddy, Willis Burke, Love you always!!
