Meet RealZG Official | Rap/RnB Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with RealZG Official and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RealZG, what inspires you?
I am inspired by many different artists that range from Rap, Hip-hop to RnB. Artists such as The Weeknd and Michael Jackson inspire me the most from the RnB scene. From the Rap scene I’d say Eminem, Tupac, Logic, NF, MCZappa and many more. MCZappa’s tracks have helped my Old School rapping ability to get better.

Alongside that myself in general as I’ve mastered different things over the course of 7 years and wanted to take a leap of faith. God is with me and others during their worst times and brings good opportunities just have Faith!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started doing Rap/Rnb back in 8th grade but released my first track as an Artist in 9th grade, a year later. Many of us started off with a basic diss-track which turned into the series of Armageddon shots and trash talks against each other. 2019 was a year of many fallouts, chaos, constant back and forth dramas in my friend group which impacted me as an Rapper. It Started as a joke when an old friend of mine in my math class said ZackGotRax or ZGR for short would be a good rapper name which at the time I agreed on. From there I changed it to ZGR which was a hell of an era for diss battles. The Covid Pandemic hit which ALL HELL WENT LOOSE! I met some new people online during that time, “which some have stayed bestfriends with to this day” I appreciate my homies. I wanted to take a new approach and changed it to OfficialZG. However, this wasn’t an easy time for many including myself as the controversial ZGR came back to haunt me further. Bringing my Motivational and mental levels to an All Time Low. Which brought my ‘Near Death Experience” that Following June. Crashing into a side of a Pick-Up truck on a mountain bike is something I’d hate to experience again. Late 2021 I changed it to RealZG and hanged low from dropping tracks as I was recovering from my injuries. I hinted a project called Soon To Come, The Door Has Opened or STCTDHO for short. a project featuring 5 tracks. I added the music to the end of my name right after. And after a Re-branding Phase I’m sticking with RealZG-Official. One Piece of Advice I’ll give to others starting up would be, “You’ll lose people when you level up so if that started your making progress”. “Never drop disses to kick off your career unless your built for it”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I haven’t thought of this one much but it’s a future plan. Definitely would travel out of the country to Europe or Dubai. We would have to play things by ear and see what their is to explore. If I had merchandise that’s part of the trips gifts. Going on a road trip would be amazing and surprising them with our Tea$pilt Crew or whatever we come up next. Otherwise I’m not sure time will only tell what RealZG has planned

I wanna shoutout My Crew from the Tea$pilt Podcast. McZappa for the Interview and my Supporters in general cause I wouldn’t of been here if it wasn’t for the amount of encouragement, motivation and drive these people got for this music and other life acheiving goals.
