Hi Reajouna, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Honestly, growing up I’ve always been super motivated and humble. Having goals and dreams has always been a BIG deal to me. Praying will always be number 1 when it comes to success. Anything I’ve achieved wasn’t done without prayer. Being humble and never looking down on others is most important when trying to be successful. The same way god gave it to you is the same way it could get taken away. Growing up in a two-parent household with a big sister who graduated college, and moved out of town was always an eye-opener that I could do the same if I just stayed motivated and consistent on my goals. Being consistent in everything I do has always brought nothing but success & money. I’ve always been motivated to do & want more! I’ve learned NOTHING in this the world is impossible and that I can’t settle.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud of myself for being able to stand only and no matter what’s going on around me it doesn’t distract me from my goals and dreams. I’ve faced many challenges on this journey such as heartbreaks, losing friends and family, being talked about, and being crossed by the people I love the most. I’ve overcome these things by letting go and letting god. I am a believer that everything happens for a reason and not to question god. I want people my age & younger to understand you don’t need NOBODY but god. I want the world to understand I’m far from perfect and that I’m still learning whether I’m far more alone than the next or not.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents & family have ALWAYS been my biggest support system. Although I don’t come from a rich family I come from a family where we are known to achieve some type of goal. Whether it’s graduating college, starting businesses, or hustling our way to the top. I wanna give a BIG shout-out to my big sister Brianna Butler for always staying on my ass and motivating me to do better. I wanna give another shout-out to my parents for always being a REAL parent & keeping my head where it needs to be.
