Hi RASHITIA, what do you attribute your success to?
Cliché as it may seem, simply being consistent helped us scale our small business in a short period of time. We quickly expanded Amani & Co with our consistency . This included persistently keeping the same positive energy while researching development, marketing, customer retention, customer service, market awareness, scaling, cogs “cost of goods sold” operating cost, overhead budgeting, most importantly the support of our customers/friends and family. The Amani & Co brand prides ourselves on simply striving to be consistent every single day!

What should our readers know about your business?
I suffer from dry skin, rough patches, and eczema. I constantly struggled while coming up short when searching for a product that not only nourished my skin but was healthy for it as well. This is when I decided to get “in the lab” aka my kitchen and hand craft my own product. I believe beauty and health go hand in hand. When it comes to living a healthy and natural lifestyle, what you put on your skin plays a huge role in your well-being. Your skin is your largest organ! It absorbs everything you put on it. Many hours and lots of research was done for each ingredient to be added to the Amani Skincare line. We pride ourselves on creating luxury organic products. Together my husband and I have created a brand we are not only proud of but built together.

We learned early on that everyone would not be happy for our success! However the hate and lack of support meant that were doing something right! Using the fear of failure and lack of support at times, fueled our drive! Daily prayer, manifesting, confirming affirmations, and writing mantras kept this duo together to fight another day!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite restaurant in the city of Atlanta is Agave. This Eclectic Southwestern style restaurant has a little something for everyone! The atmosphere is so sultry and relaxed. The people that visit this restaurant are locals that visit frequently. You can tell by the vibe that Agave is for everyone friends, coworkers, and families. The laid back cozy rooms, are perfect for date night. The prices are amazing and reasonable. They even offer complimentary valet parking. This place is a must go and try for a great local experience.
