We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Consistency. I think you must be habitual about your activities in order to succeed. If not you will not keep up with the things needed to succeed when your motivation levels are down. Consistency will beat out motivation all the time.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Realtor/Realtist and I am a Firefighter with the City of Atlanta. Nothing is easy about my professions but they are both fulfilling. I am able to help people in both arenas and that is very important to me. I overcome challenges by being open to learn and stating consistent at working to develop my careers. I want people to know I am great a multi-tasking and very prompt to service.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I think that would depend on the friend. Everyone is different and have different interest. I do think that if a person has never been to Atlanta taking them to the Martin Luther King Center is a great place to go to learn about some of the history of Atlanta. I would take them to one of the fire stations that I have worked. We could also go to Stone Mountain or Kennisaw Mountain for a hike. There are so many places to eat in Atlanta but you have to take them to get some wings, a couple of great places would be J.R. Crickets or The Greatest of the Plates. Ted’s would be another great place to eat. The High Art Museum would be another place to visit. Atlanta has a wide variety of things but again to make a great trip you need to know what that person’s interest are then you can tailor their visit to those types of places and events.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother is my first mentor, cheerleader and support system. Without her I would not be where I am today. My children, Michael, Ronald and Henry are my why? They are the main reason why I work hard to make things happen
