We had the good fortune of connecting with Ramar Watson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ramar, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from North Hollywood California. I had two strong parents who instilled in me to always beat the best you . When you do something always finish and do your best. That has carried on today in my career and professional life. From being a father to being a business owner. It has made me strong and resilient to be great at whatever I do.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started my entertainment management business a few years ago. Believe me when I say this, I have learned so much in the last few years. I have built some great relationships and I have had to cut a lot of people out also. I have had terrible days but I also have had great days. So many challenges I have face was because I have done everything just as a one man team, don’t get me wrong I asked for help but I have had doors closed in my face. Lessons I have learned in the entertainment business is “ when you blow up that’s when they show up “, and I haven’t reached that level of status yet, but I am working to making a name for myself from the ground up without any help. I need people to know that when it’s all said and done, I want people to say when they mention my business “ The kingdom Entertainment Management “ or “ TKE “ for short I want them to say if you work for them or they represent you just know you are getting a dedicated company who wants nothing but the best for you and will always treat you like family, because that’s who we are.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Atlanta you can’t come to the city without eating at Bones Restaurant or Aria. They have amazing food and the food at these places are beyond good. But you also have to stop at the newly opened “ Trap Music museum “. It’s like the Mecca of music of Georgia but also the history of the hip hop music world. The mom & pops hidden gem restaurants are what makes living down south a amazing thing. So we definitely would visit some of those gems for sure. Last but not least depends on when you come to can’t leave town without catching a Falcons game.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My inspiration comes from mogul Kevin Hart. He is a person and admire. From the man he was to the mogul he is today. Also I want to give a huge shoutout to a family member ( Petra Pope ), my aunt a inspiring black woman who has built a TREMENDOUS reputation like no other in the sports world (NBA & NFL ).. Truth be told my aunt definitely is a woman who deserves credit to the things she has accomplished in the last 25+ plus years.
