We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachael Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachael, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business helps the community by increasing profits and amplifying the voice of businesses that are making change in the world and creating opportunities for others. The services provided by Rosemint Media allow for visionaries and those in position to impact millions and employ thousands grow their brand and elevate their visibility. We train startups on the importance of marketing and branding and increase the reach of those businesses that already have an established brand,
What should our readers know about your business?
What sets my business apart is that in addition to being innovative and creative, I bring a finance and business management background to the table. Rosemint Media is a marriage of creativity and strategy based on experience, talent, and hard work. I started off in banking and have 7 years of experience in the finance industry. I took an entrepreneurship-specific course at my local community college and wanted to start a greeting card company. That idea flopped with my limited graphic design skills and resources, When I decided to start a business in 2013, I began with event planning. My graphic design skills grew while creating custom wedding invitations and wedding decor. In addition, marketing for event planning services turned into created websites and completely pivoting to providing marketing and branding services for other businesses. It was not easy. I have a habit of trying to do it all and did not have good boundaries set at one point. I discovered that providing good service doesn’t mean being available at all hours or providing certain services just because I could do them (vs being aligned). Having a coach was a big game-changer, also therapy helped me to learn more about myself and how it translated to my operations. I want the world to know that you are worth taking the time to create! Whatever your creative interests are, you deserve the time to explore. Whether that means starting your business or buying a harmonica, we were put here to create.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Friday night I would take them to UMI in Buckhead for Sushi. Saturday during the day I would take them to Serenbe for brunch, bike rides through the community, feeding the animals, spa. Saturday night dinner at Rock Steady and great music. Sunday spend the day at Chateau Elan for tour of the winery and wine tasting.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my clients! Their trust increases my confidence and pushes me to be bolder with strategy and ideas. I have the honor to work with some amazingly successful brands that truly want to do good in the world!
