We had the good fortune of connecting with Quentin Lloyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Quentin, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is being around my family and my close group of friends. I love to travel and meet new people. What makes me overly happy is seeing other people happily and. Having a good time.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So I’m a police officer by day and I’m also a tv personality. I just finished my first tv show that should be airing on Hulu very soon. I can’t drop the name as of yet but the world is in for a great show. Acting has always been something I wanted to do but never knew how to really get into it. I landed my first show thanks to my ex girl friend. She sent me a screen shot asking for applicants and I applied and a month later I got a call and it took off from there.
Other than that ima a police officer in the city of Atlanta. Never in a million years did I think I’d be the police but one of my best friends talked me into it and I fell in love with it. Yes its a hard job but I enjoy the challenge and I also enjoy interacting with the public. It’s never a boring day. I’ve met a lot of people on and off the streets and people understand that all cops aren’t bad people.
After doing the tv show I do know now that I want to peruse a career in acting. I will now be taking classes on the side. I just recently auditioned and signed to a known agent out of LA.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s Atlanta it’s always something to do depending on the vibe little alley steak house or is always a hit. But brunch in the city is always dope to I’m going to hit breakfast at Barney’s or Toast at Lenox. I’d take them ti the historic places in Edgewood also visit the MLK museum. Fun time top golf and andredies
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I’d shoutout God without him I am nothing. He’s had my back and opened the doors to make the things I’ve done this far possible. Secondly I’d thank my Mom, Dad, both sisters and my little brother for always being supportive. Lastly my friends Paris, Brad, Don, Marcus, Rachel,Jeff and Maddy for welcoming me into they group with open arms couldn’t ask for a more solid group of friends. I could go for days with naming.
Tev and Rell Trevon Spence if I need to talk I know they gone pick up.
