We had the good fortune of connecting with Quanecia Kelly and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Quanecia, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
When I read or hear something and it resonates with me, I have to add it to the list of my favorite quotes and inspirational messages. Currently, my favorite quote comes from a book I read called Atomic Habits by James Clear. He said, “It is only by making the fundamentals of life easier that you can create the mental space needed for free thinking and creativity”. This quote challenges me to organize and declutter my life, change negative or old habits, and create new ones that align with the woman I am striving to become. I use this quote as a periodic self-check to be sure that I am on track and the things that I do repetitively in my life are making it easier or making me better.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend in town and we weren’t living in the middle of a pandemic, I would definitely have to hit some of my favorites spots in ATL. This would include mostly wine and dining, finding live music or a concert, and some outdoor activities. I would take them to some of my favorite blacked owned spots like BQE, Atlanta breakfast Club, Negril Village or Ms. Icys from brunch. Monticello is a good live music spot on the right day and maybe Shoot the hooch or hiking if the weather permits.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Of course, I have to give the biggest shoutout to my mom who s my greatest inspiration and motivation. I’m always striving to make her and my family proud! Secondly, my alma mater, The best HBCU in the world, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University?
