Meet Quamane Favor | Serial Entrepreneur (Business Partner Shantel Smith, Serial Entrepreneur)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Quamane Favor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Quamane, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Honestly, Outside of working for myself, having a great business partner is the key to any successful relationship. Even though I previously had the concept of what our Show was suppose to represent, without my business partner we wouldn’t have developed the vision. Having my business partner Shanny D, was one of the most impactful decisions I’ve ever made.
What should our readers know about your business?
So in 2020 during the pandemic, people were losing jobs, losing their sanity and losing hope. Outside of Juicy Talk Radio, I wanted to start another business that would help others in the mix of the economy at the time. So I started an at home call center, where I’ve hired over 10 employees to date, and it was the best decision that I’ve ever made. As for Shanny D, during the pandemic she gave women the confidence to still dress their best and look their best with her online makeup classes. The biggest challenge she overcame was finding her passion, and she’s glad she found. What I want the world to know about our brand and our story is that we are as authentic and honest as they come.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are in Atlanta Ga! So First we stop for brunch at Breakfast at Barney’s, then It is imperative that when your friends visit you take them to the Trap Museum. Learning about the history of hip hop and what it means to the city is very important. Then for a beautiful view of the city, games and a wonderful time with the crew , we take them by The Roof at Ponce City Market. Lastly when the cap the night depending on your mood we take them to either Pasha Restaurant and Bar in Buckhead, or Cooper Cove.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When we first started Juicy Talk Radio, One of our biggest inspirations was the Rickey Smiley morning Show. Watching people like us be unapologetically themselves gave us much hope to continue our passion. So if anyone deserves the credit, it would be their platform.
