We had the good fortune of connecting with PROORGANIZERSLATINAS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi PROORGANIZERSLATINAS, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Our journey began as a collective of passionate Latina organizers, drawn together not only by our shared love for organization but also by our mutual interests in music, singing, dancing, and our common language, Spanish. What initially started as casual get-togethers among friends soon blossomed into something far more meaningful. Our group organically evolved into a space for mentorship, where we could freely exchange ideas, provide support, and glean wisdom from each other’s experiences.

During a trip to St. Augustine, a conversation sparked among us about the lack of educational resources and mentorship opportunities. Inspired to make a difference, we embarked on a mission to extend this opportunity to all Latinas who shared our passion and desire to learn, particularly in their native language, Spanish.

And thus, our community was born. We seized the initiative to organize the inaugural Únete Encuentro 2024 – the very first professional organizers’ event in the USA conducted in Spanish. Despite facing a considerable waiting list, our unwavering commitment to maintaining an intimate atmosphere prevailed. The event exceeded all expectations, bringing together a close group of 31 attendees in a space where connections were forged, experiences shared, and knowledge exchanged.

Every participant left feeling empowered, energized, and equipped with a wealth of new knowledge. But perhaps most importantly, they departed with full hearts, having forged new friendships and alliances within the community.

We eagerly anticipate the next event, where we’ll have the opportunity to reunite with familiar faces and welcome new Latina professional organizers into our growing family. In the meantime we continue supporting the community by sharing tips  and our everyday experiences on social media, offering mentorships, and many surprises coming along the way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

We are passionate to see our Latinas grow, that’s why we decided to get together and empower other professionals to grow with us and create the Únete Encuentro 2024. It took a year of meticulous planning to craft an unforgettable event experience. Our journey wasn’t easy, yet the unwavering passion of each founder compelled us to give our best. Through this process, we’ve discovered the immense power of teamwork, realizing that together, we can accomplish remarkable feats and inspire other women to chase their dreams.

As entrepreneurs, we acknowledge the challenges of the path, and although it can sometimes feel solitary, we want Latina professional organizers to understand that we’re here to support each other’s growth. When we come together, our combined strength propels us to new heights of success.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
