We had the good fortune of connecting with Princess Elmore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Princess, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make was when I decided to quit my Job as a VP at a Financial Institution to pursue a Full time career in Acting/ Entertainment industry.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others….hmm…I have to say my drive and determination; I am adamant about everything I want to accomplish and seeing my dreams become an reality; so in that perspective I try to work on my craft on a daily basis and coming up with ways and new ideas to market myself and create an outsource to help me succeed in my endeavors as a successful actress. I am most proud of all the opportunities that have been presented to me in such a short period of time!! I am a host on a very popular cook show where I get to interview popular romance novelists and teach them how to cook a dish or a dessert, I also just booked a major role on a Lifetime Movie that will air later this summer and also another feature film that will also be finishing up Production this year as well. I’m so excited that God continues to work in my Favor and for that I’m so very proud of everything that has been apart of God’s plan for my life so far. How did I get to where I am today professionally? Dedication, hard work, sacrifice and Determination will sum up how I’m where I am professionally now and why I am still striving for so much more to come; this is just the beginning. My Journey has never been easy….I remember back in 2018 when I decided to quit my fulltime job in corporate America to work on my acting career as a fulltime career and how I would sit and think for hours on end after I turned in my resignation of what am I gonna do now….what the hell did I just do…did I make the right decision…was I over my head thinking that I could have a successful career as a working actor?? It was a lot of stressful days and nights and I shed many of tears because I wasn’t looking at the big picture at that time and didn’t realize that this was definitely my faith walk, but I’m so grateful that with my husband encouragement and my family’s support I was able to no longer continue to ask God why, but began my journey to a brand new career and one that I have dreamed about for so many years of my life!! There were days still full of doubt but I refused to give up because I made a promise to myself, my husband and to God that I would continue this Journey no matter what and now I’m so happy to say that I made that gigantic decision 4 years ago and there has not been one day of regret since I decided to make entertainment my industry of choice and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds!! I’ve learned so many lessons along the way such as not to look at what happened in the past, not to give in to the NO’s but let the NO’s be my Power to prepare for all the Yes’s that were ahead of me in the future…..I had to realize that this industry is not as easy as I assumed 15 years earlier on this journey and that you have to have some very thick skin to handle the disappointments and be a strong soldier in so many ways to endure the negativity. To overcome the naysayers that tells you that you’re not good enough, there’s no way you can do this but turn the negatives into my positives not only in my mind but in my heart as well. I have seen so many errors and challenges on this path but they seem to make me stronger in so many ways and I’m able to focus on my present and future and continue my Journey by handling my obstacles so much better and with a clearer perspective on how I should proceed further. What I would like for the world to know about me and my brand is very simple, its that I never give in to doubt, I am always striving to be better than my last performance and I try to give my 110% in everything I do. My brand is Greatness and Success!!
