We had the good fortune of connecting with Preach J Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Preach J, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Praying, studying the word of God and putting work behind my faith. Apart from the Lord I can do absolutely nothing. I know that true success comes from abiding in the Lord and doing what pleases Him by the way that I live my life. My success is a reflection of me seeking God for who He is and not for what He can do for me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I preach the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world. I seek to bring hope and peace in the lives of those that feel abandoned and forgotten about. Being in this position allows me to connect with other fellow ministers of the gospel in different cities and states. We work together to organize outreach events to deliver the word of God to people that may never step foot in a church building. What sets me apart is the fact that I am not trying to build a name for myself or get rich off of God’s word. Many false preachers have contributed to the tainted image and false perception that many people have towards preachers in general. This is one of the many challenges that I have to overcome by truly living what I preach. One of the many things that I’ve learned along the way is not to take rejection of what I preach personal. God does not force anyone to love and live for Him and neither should I. Although we all have the liberty to believe what we want, there still remains one truth and that truth is what I choose to preach. I want the world to know that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not from Atlanta and the few times I’ve been I never got a chance to explore the city but I do plan on visiting some of the restaurants there that we do not have in Savannah.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to Jesus Christ and to all of my brothers and sisters laboring for the Lord.
