We had the good fortune of connecting with Praise Pitchford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Praise, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Over time my balance has become real. In the past i made many mistakes juggling friendships, relationships, motherhood, me-hood, work-life stability, ministry life stability, and etc. Although many mistakes were extremely costly, while others were temporarily annoying, i began to quickly learn myself and what it takes for me to function at my best. I also became aware that no matter how many self-help books, talks, coaches, or shows i engaged in, there would be a crucial time in my life where i would need hard core application. Ideally things would flow and then they would not. I learned in business and in personal life that balance was all about adjustments. The adjustments that i can only make, Balance can not be maintained without consistency, Overall over time i had to make real mistakes, take time to really apply the methods of how to stay recovered and sound from those mistakes. I learned the power of personal accountability. As i adjust in my life still today, i embrace the ongoing love story of me and balance. Grateful to see that weighing whats important for me must be dispersed into all i do, and effects what i believe and then later displays whether whatever i’m pursuing in life can be balanced.

What should our readers know about your business?
I-am the CEO of the Success After5 business consulting firm, the CEO of Impressionable Ladies mentoring program, and a international Christian recording artist, under the brand name IAMPRAISE.

Success After5 business consulting firm, provides promotional marketing for businesses, strategic business plans for start-ups, business consulting, and also freight brokerage services. This business has offered hope to dreamers, businesses, and brought life back to some stale and stuck visions.

Impressionable Ladies mentorship program, empowers and mentors women and girls. This program is designed to educate, enrich, and develop life strengthening skills through a faith based curriculum, and accountable mentoring. Progressing and enhancing lives through strategic programs that can bring powerful insight on healing, recovering, and learning oneself, this programs gives ladies new life!

The brand IAMPRAISE is my musical outlet and place to share the artistic side of me and my faith. As an international independent recording artist my music is where pain meets healing, where fear meets faith, and where sorrow meets joy.

I have faced many traumatic things in my life but never by myself! God gets all the glory as to where IAM today and where I’m going!
Nothing was easy in the past, I’ve experienced homelessness with my children, and all while starting a business. I’ve had many past failures, experiencing betrayal, poverty, depression, fear, anxiety and more. Everything took more faith in the lord, as well as a reasoning with my identity and purpose in Christ!

Along the way I have learned that your gift can take you where your character can’t keep you! I have experienced and continue to experience Gods refining in my character and more. I’m absolutely nothing Without Gods handy work in my life, heart, past shame, and every victory! Every challenge I want the world to know a special reminder that Dr.Myles Monroe quotes, “God never requires anything of His creations that he didn’t already build into them”. My brand, and my story is a testament to how Great God is….remember that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would start with breakfast.
Atlanta’s breakfast club is an amazing breakfast spot with an amazing vibe and awesome shrimp and grits, as well as waffles. The selection is so delicious there’s bound to be something great that will make there palate go crazy.

Atlanta has a beautiful botanical garden so this would definitely be a place for some beautiful scenery.

Lunch will be awesome. My friends like flavor so I would tell them to visit El Salvador Bakery for some great authentic tacos and cuisine.

I love to just be active while doing different things, so I would encourage the ladies to do Ninja Quest with me in Marietta.

Furthermore we love to shop and see unique boutiques. so the exploration of downtown Atlanta can be come a treasure hunt and a way to really support small businesses.

The Slutty Vegan ATL will be our dinner spot. This restaurant has plenty for us all so I know this spot will be a special treat.

There such amazing things to do from, The Georgia aquarium, the world of Coca-Cola. Yet we have to go visit Martin Luther Kings birth home it’s just a must!

I would provide my girls with a list of options and just build from there because Atlanta is not set up to disappoint in the tourism department. The city life is full of color, great food and an amazing vibe!
