We had the good fortune of connecting with Prachi Patel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Prachi, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I am always looking to collaborate with people who identify with my brand motto: ” If we’re not all friends, what’s the point? Keep in mind not everyone is your friend so protect your energy”. This is something that someone said to me when we were at the beginning of our friendship. It was the moment I realized she was one of the people I wanted in my life. The spirit of it really resonated with me. I tried to emulate that message through my brand. I was happy to hear that my setup is very welcoming and obvious to be welcoming to all just recently by a market manager. It’s a good attitude to have in a competitive, handmade market. It encourages people to be kind but not take unnecessary negative energy or attitudes from people. Encourages people to live life with intention in their relationships. Because otherwise, what’s the point?
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My name is Prachi Patel and my brand is Prachi Henna Art, LLC. I’m a henna artist in Macon, Georgia 📍 and I’m willing to travel especially for festivals and parties. My preferred events are business, education, or corporate (as I can do 20 henna an hour this is an asset for people who want to provide henna for their guests or students). I also make handmade jewelry, gifts, and digital art. Any of my handmade products services can be wholesale as well as incorporated into bundle pricing for gifting. I offer small business services such as graphic design, custom packaging and marketing materials such as fliers, logos, and even custom merch line design for you and your brand. And now offer printing services for custom flyers as well as QR code labels. I’m always looking to collaborate with people who identify with my brand motto: ” If we’re not all friends, what’s the point? Keep in mind not everyone is your friend so protect your energy.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Botanical gardens for sure and then probably multiple foodie spots. Definitely would have to go to a coffee shop as well as a small boutique style shop or thriftstore.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout out goes to the market manager at my local farmers market in Tattnall Square Park. I set up with Napier Heights Food Co-op every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. In Tattnall Square Park. We are a producer only farmers market with double snap benefits. My manager’s name is Paige and she was the one who was there for me when I set up for my first market. She was also able to help me get connections for people in my life to start their career. Just an overall caring person who volunteers to do this and so much more for the community. She was there for me in the beginning of my career with my small business and I cannot thank her enough. Shout out to her and Napier Heights Food Co-op Market in Macon, Georgia. Come see us y’all!
