Meet Porchea-Londone Spencer | Brand Style Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Porchea-Londone Spencer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Porchea-Londone, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my authenticity. There’s so many people that do what I do, brand strategy and have a minimal offering behind a gang of gimmicks. I don’t operate outside of my truest self, I could EASILY manipulate the public and make 6 figures but that’s not my agenda. I want to do things from a place of integrity. It may take longer but it’s worth it to 1. be true to myself 2. scale with honor

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brand Style is everything from font choice on a website to content style to the brands partners to outfit selection. One thing that sets my business, Couture Branding Suite apart is that I offer what I call D to P and P to D.
Showcasing personality in your brand comes easier for some than others. Some are really great at creating a stellar digital presence but lose confidence with real life connections. Others have fantastic energy in person but don’t know how to translate it online.
Digital to Personal or D to P is for the online success looking to make more personal and tangible connections or impressions. Everything from clothing selection to nailing the elevator pitch to having some form of a business card contributes to showcasing your best self IRL.
Personal to Digital or P to D is for the personable individual that doesn’t know how to convey their personality online. Echoing energy on social media and having a functional but aesthetically pleasing website are only two examples of establishing a digital presence. It can be challenging to say the least. We can blame the algorithm but the right strategy can override that. And that’s where I come in!
I’ve had the amazing luxury of working with some amazing brands but entrepreneurship has taught me more than anything. I had to learn not too be too nice and how to professionally stand up for myself and my business. You have to have some grit with the grace or this industry will eat you alive. I now can confidently stand 10 toes on all my moves because I know that no one has to live with the consequences of my decisions but me, myself and I.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Brunch at 80 Proof, It’s a brunch buffet with three floors of deliciousness Dinner at Hamada of Japan
Next stop would be walking off the meal at the river walk.

Chicago is very weather weird so depending on the time of year, we could explore Navy Pier, take a lunch or dinner cruise,
There’s a beautiful low-key Japanese garden that’s great for picnics

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, my tribe of close friends and family has held me down. When life has lived, God has use that to show me who is truly in my corner and I’m thankful for my true blue tribe.
