We had the good fortune of connecting with Porche Madre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Porche, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired most by my mom and her love for Jesus. Because of him she has changed the lives of so many people around her. Waking up every day to be a blessing to others and her community. Letting her light shine by remaining positive no matter what the circumstances. Educating people about God without bible thumping or judging others. Feeding the homeless, ministering to the sick, volunteering her time at the Salvation Army are all things I grew up on thanks to her. She inspired me to strive to help others and expose people to God.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So PM media and marketing is your one stop shop for all your entertainment needs. I work with tons of different celebrities across-the-board and I work with the different up-and-coming entertainers across-the-board . I like to merge the two I find that it is important to have a healthy balance. I cannot just work with celebrities I cannot just work with up-and-coming artist. I like to have a melting pot of resources and contacts where I can plug you in to what you need. With me also being a personality and a media host and media producer it allows me to really build my rapport and gain relationships with different artists and different promoters different managers different venues . When clients come to me for my PR Skills there is not one thing from media, bookings, interviews, from hair to make up to Stylist to venues and everything in between like Videographers and Photogaphers that I cannot make it happen. I’m most proud that I had a hand in many people’s careers like GS Boyz, Mo3, Yella Beezy, Fiend, and Webbie. One thing I realize is your net worth really is your network. Hard work and dedication to helping my clients got me to where I am today. No matter the problem or situation I refused to stop. Being a black women in a male dominated industry is never easy but me choosing to be spirit led and take Jesus every where I go definitely helped direct my path. I’m god hungry so money never had me out of character or in awkward situations. I understand everything is not for everybody and just because you want something doesn’t mean it’s in god’s will or timing. I want to let the world know that I am a child of god and everything I do is to help his people. I run my PR firm with ethics, morals, values, and integrity.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend came in town we definitely would be eating at The sugar factory, Mary macs, Slutty Vegan, Poor Calvins, Blue Cantina, Old Lady Gang, and Frankie’s Oyster Bar. When it’s time to go out and drink we’re first going to Boogalou’s with the swing definitely going to Monticello definitely going to members only definitely going to Zury and king of Diamond’s. We have to hit up Lennox mall , Labels Boutique, Black ink Atlanta, The Trap Museum, and the comedy club in hapeville to catch some vibes.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I would like to give a huge shout out to Fiend A.k.a. Mr. womp womp a.k.a. Fiend international Jones you know he really gave me my first start in the entertainment industry . I was just a little girl in college who was trying to get into the entertainment world and nobody would take me serious and I met him I think I was like not even 20 years old and he gave me a shot. He had me around people like currency ,808 mafia, slim thug , bun b, Mousa, and super producer Drummer Boy Fresh just to name a few. He gave me the confidence to work with other artist like Platinum Minds, Mo3, and Richelle Gemini. Which brings me to my next shoutout. Major recognition to Webbie trill young savage mr sweet jones jr and his brother Derrick from Savage life super unit records and entertainment . Savage life gave me a platform in this entertainment industry for me to be able to take my skills to the next level for me to take my brand to the next level and expose me to so many different people in different genres of entertainment. Because of Webbie I have been in the studio at Chris Brown’s house with Chris Brown and French Montana. I’ve got to meet YG and slim block 400 and be in the studio with them. I’ve got to go to Jamie’s foxx house after the BET Awards and party with Diddy’s kids, snoop dogg, Swae Lee, rotimi, A-1, lunell. He introduced me to mannie fresh, Trina, NBA Young Boy , the real Rick Ross, o j da juiceman, Cupid, yfn Lucci, kevin and Dreka gates, Boosie , and the UGK UGKidz family. Because of Webbie and Derrick; I got to soak up the game for 6 straight years from Pimp C’s dad Pops who recently passed away this year. I also want to thank Radio One Dallas the Ricky smiley morning show for letting me complete my internship with them and essentially helping me to graduate from college. They helped with letting me know that I could be a Media host a media personality in the entertainment industry. The connections that I gain while interning there with people such as Veda Loca, J Cruz , and Gary with the tea allowed me to build relationships in the city of Dallas . It ultimately got me my first job after college at the Dallas weekly and the Dallas weekly which got me my job with Elite News Elite News. At the Dallas weekly I was able to cover red carpet events and different award shows different conferences such as megafest. I was able to interview high profile celebrities like megan good and her husband , Irma P hall , Mali music , lacre, Laveille Crawford, David mann, Gary Owens, Tocara,, Lauren Vango, Wesley Johnathon, and Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child,just to name a few. At Elite News I became the festival coordinator for the fifth largest parade and festival in the US the MLK parade and festival. I was able to set up tons of sponsorships and coordinate the festivals entertainment which to this day has built my rapport across America.
