We had the good fortune of connecting with Phish Bone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Phish, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I knew I wanted to be independent. I’ve always believed that it was important to build your own empire vs building someone else’s

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My Art is a reflection of where I have been and where I am in life. Art has been apart every my whole life. The strides in the Art world that Ive made so far are small but I’m a lot further then I use to be. Consistently chasing the dream of being a full time artist has been one of the most difficult and rewarding challenges I’ve ever taken on. Ive grown in ways that I can only attribute to art. Ive learned to become diligent resourceful and crafty during my time. If I had one thing to share that would be there are no RULES in ART. I would like my brand to represent just that. It’s all about hustle and drive.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from Nashville where there are a ton of bars, live music and great places to eat the best advice I would give is go to Broadway

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
