Meet Phillip Hodge III | Actor & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Phillip Hodge III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Phillip, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
“From The Suburbs of Atlanta, Born & Raised, on the Playground is where I spent most of my days”. I’m playing, I was born & Raised in Powder Springs, Georgia. A Big Contributor to who I am, is my upbringing & my Parents. At a Young Age, My Parents instilled Discipline & that crafted me into the Hardworking Individual I am today. I’m always grateful of how I was brought up. My parents were hard on me to accomplish the mission & put in the work in everything I do, everything I strived too do. That Mentality carried over to Athletics & now into The Entertainment Business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started my Career in Acting & Modeling within the last Two Years. I’ve had a great deal of Success & Blessings that I thank God for. In 2021, I proclaimed that it would be my year of “Breakthroughs”. Opportunities were endless & I found myself constantly working being Booked & Busy last year. At 21 Years Old, I was at my First Ever Feature Film Premiere as a Lead Role which was one of my favorite moments & highlights of my Career thus far. I Booked a Series Regular Role on a Streaming Network in Atlanta named “WatchACTV”. I also did a few Fashion Shows. Those were a few of the successes last year I experienced. It definitely has not been a easy Road either. The constant Rejection is always Looming & can inevitably ruin your confidence. You have to always stay prepared & constantly Honing you craft to become the best you can be.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For me, I’ve always been an adventurous individual. Atlanta is Home for me. I was breaded here. One of the first things I’d do, is take them to Brunch. Not Just any Brunch, Brunch at Another Broken Egg. After we were done eating, taking them to The Battery & for them to experience the Liveness of Atlanta. The Food, The Scenery is all beautiful. May catch a Movie at the Silverspot Theatre. If they’re one of my Acting Friends, A Trip to ATL Stunts would definitely be in the Itinerary but if they’re a regular friend, a night out on the town would have to be the next move of the night. Experiencing all the Flavors of Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I started my Modeling Career “officially” in 2019. Prior to that, my friend Emmet Myers & I had a passion for Taking Photos at High School & Figuring out Sceneries. We would come everyday with a New Outfit & figure out where to take pictures. In 2019, that’s when Modeling for the both of us took off. We started getting opportunities & working with Photographers to prefect the craft. Emmet Myers along with my Cousin are big contributors into my switch & success with Theatre/Acting. They both suggested I give it a try & I fell in love with it. Since 2020, I’ve been a Professional Actor, constantly Auditioning & working to be the best Actor & Model I can Be. I definitely have to give them there flowers.
