We had the good fortune of connecting with Phillip Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Phillip, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of PWG Lens is the genuine connections we build with our clients. It goes beyond just delivering high-quality photography services; it’s about understanding their unique story and capturing moments that truly represent their vision. I’ve always believed that success comes from being able to blend creativity with personal experience, and that means approaching every project with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. By focusing on those relationships and consistently delivering results that exceed expectations, we’ve built a brand that people trust and return to. Most importantly creating and delivering visual assets that our clients find added value in.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
PWG Lens is truly a manifestation of faith and purpose. What sets us apart is not just our ability to deliver stunning visuals, but the foundation of integrity, service, and intention that guides every project we take on. We don’t just take pictures—we create visual legacies. What I’m most proud of is the trust we’ve earned from businesses, individuals, and organizations across Corporate Atlanta, allowing us to evolve into a leader in the photography industry. I often draw inspiration from Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” This scripture has been a pillar for me as I’ve built this business from the ground up. Each step has been grounded in a belief that if I do my part and stay true to my purpose, everything else will fall into place.

The journey has not been easy. Transitioning from a career in IT into photography came with its share of risks, setbacks, and moments of doubt. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced challenges, from building a client base to balancing creativity with business strategy. Each challenge taught me something invaluable—whether it was refining my technical skills, mastering client relationships, or understanding the power of storytelling in branding. But I’ve always approached obstacles as opportunities to grow. But as James 1:3 reminds us, “the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Through each challenge, I was reminded to trust the process, knowing that each obstacle was refining me, preparing me for the next phase.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the ability to build genuine, lasting relationships with clients. Whether it’s a corporate headshot or an intimate wedding, I approach each project with care and a desire to serve. I’ve learned that when you operate from a place of purpose, the work speaks for itself. I’ve learned the importance of perseverance and consistency. Success doesn’t come overnight, but by staying focused on your vision, refining your craft, and building genuine connections, you get there. I also learned that collaboration is essential. The people you meet along the way—clients, partners, and peers—are crucial to your growth.

Also, the lessons I’ve learned along the way are deeply rooted in faith: to be patient, to trust in God’s timing, and to always move with integrity. I’ve come to realize that success is about more than just reaching goals—it’s about being a good steward of the gifts you’ve been given and making a meaningful impact through your work.

What I want the world to know about PWG Lens is that we are not just a photography company; we’re about helping our clients build their brands, tell their stories, and make a powerful visual impact. Whether you’re a corporation looking to define your image or an individual seeking to capture a special moment, we’re here to ensure your story is told with excellence, creativity, and professionalism. Lastly and most importantly, we are a team driven by purpose and faith. Our mission is to create lasting visual assets and legacies that speak to the heart of each client’s story. We believe that when you commit your work to a higher purpose, the results will always be extraordinary. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re just getting started.
