We had the good fortune of connecting with PERRY RANDLE III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi PERRY, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My faith in God, no question. There are so many times when I know what I want to accomplish but I’m not always quite sure about how to get there. But God always seems to make a way out of no way and I’m forever thankful for that. He’s the GREATEST!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am from Kansas City, Missouri and that city has not had a NBA team in DECADES. So pursuing a career with the NBA was very far-fetched. But I knew in my heart what I wanted to do and I wanted to use my story to inspire others. It wasn’t easy at all but that’s how I knew it was worth not giving up on. I overcame challenges by praying and staying open to new ideas. I think the biggest lesson that I have learned along the way is to not give up on what you truly love. And another one is your position in the next season is dependent on your posture in this season. As I continue to add to my toolbox as a creative, I find myself using past experiences to help create new ones. And last but certainly not least, it is so important to serve others. That is where I receive the most fulfillment. I want the world to know that whatever I did, I always had the intention of making somebody smile.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I haven’t been in Atlanta for too long but I would definitely plan to eat plenty of good food. From brunch to soul Food. I would also try to go to some sort of event. Whether that was a Hawks game, a concert, etc. And then I would also take them to sightsee in the city at places like MLK‘s museum, WarnerMedia‘s campus, trap museum, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
S/O to my family. I don’t want to name any names because I know I will forget somebody but they have had my back every step of the way. They are a constant reminder that I am most successful when I am just being myself. I love them for that and do my best to spread the same energy to everybody that I meet.
