Meet Perry Clarke | Entrepreneur & film director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Perry Clarke and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Perry, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thoughts on the process behind starting a business. The first thought is freeing myself from the having a boss, that is what driving’s me to create more businesses. You have to answer to some one , however it the government. The government doesn’t micromanage businesses. Next is creating another stream of income, it a gold rush in businesses right now. life is about taking chances, map your business out by doing a business plan. Follow your plan step by step, and you must trust the process. My life has been about leaps of faiths. Do not be scared to take a leap faith, it will pay off.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It started with me sell my clothing brand DangerousParadise. That was center of my universe, that one idea sparked a fire in me. That fire is burning bright, meeting different people through my brand. My clothing line is what showed me how to pivot from business to business. I gave a DangerousParadise shirt to Jody Breeze and he introduced me to Tom Cat Black. Rick Ross co founder of Belair, I did a drop for Tom Cat Black, drop is like shout out to that person brand personalize by you. Tom Cat said you are too good at this , you may need to look more into this type field. Year later I have a large YouTube following for my podcast. So never give up and be open to new things.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Y’all gone be get me in trouble. The city a little different now so first we gone hit the Battery, Suntrust park battery is a city within a city. The Battery would ease us in to the week smooth. Later that night pull up to Stankonia studio for new music Monday. Everybody talk about Magic city on a Monday, which is a tourist day. We going on a Tuesday Day shift and get some food, real playa vibes. Day drinking will knock out the best of them. Wednesday hit Main event for bowling, drinks , and food. Thursday I got to hit Harold’s Chicken and ice bar on Edgewood. Friday a PInups type of day day shift and yet again day drinking will take you out.
