We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick RokN and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrick, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always been a creative person. My entire life I’ve been doing something creative, from music, film, art, photography. If it’s a creative outlet I’ve tried it. I always wanted to do something I love for work because I truly believe the saying “If you do what you love, it’s never work”.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I usually have multiple irons in the fire. I’m constantly doing many different creative things. I’ve been a worship leader for many years and recently I’ve jumped back into making cover music. I also freelance as a creative director. As a creative director, for me it ranges from photography, graphic design, environmental details, film or leading creative teams towards a goal. Through many years of working on Major Motion Pictures, I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, pay attention to the smallest details and be flexible to changes and reworking things on the fly in the moment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has many different spots that are a must to visit. You have to go to a Braves game at Truist Park and an Atlanta United Game. If you want to doing some adventurist things we can go for some thrill rides at Six Flags, or see some animals at the aquarium and zoo. When it comes time to chill and be in a fun environment, you have to go down to Trilith. At Trilith you can see the grand studio across the street and also visit the great food spots, while seeing breathtaking homes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s been so many people that have played a part in my story. Most people never get anywhere on their own, it truly takes a village and that’s what has been around me most of my life. There are friends that have been around for over 10yr always encouraging me and friends for less years that do the same.
