We had the good fortune of connecting with Patria Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patria, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most important decision that I have contributed to my success is to be faithful. To have faith in God first and foremost and yourself. Speak light into yourself. Everyday may not be a 100% but trust that it’s worth it. Everything! Your successes and your trails. Have Faith that you made the best decision and that is to step out on Faith on YOU!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being in the coaching business has truly been refreshing. I have always been a natural born helpmate. I love to help people get to where they want and need to be in their success! And I think what sets me apart is my genuine heart to help others and being relatable. Now don’t get me wrong you definitely have to decipher when to show tough love to your client. But overall when your client feels that ME TOO moment with you and trust your judgement to get them next level. You got a forever client!

The lessons I’ve learned is that I have to lead by example for my clients. I have to be consistent. I have to be dedicated. And to always have a balance with my self and the business!

How I got to where I am today is my dedication to remain who I am! It wasn’t easy getting to know me. It came with alot of uncomfortable moments, tears and fears but it definitely worth it! I stand for me. And I’m walking testimony that standing in your truth and being your biggest cheerleader is what you need to succeed!

What I want the world to know is that I will forever be a woman of service. I will forever stand in my purpose and that is to serve my people! However and whenever this is me!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go to the Suite lounge in Atlanta on Saturday. I would take them to Sunday Brunch at The Breakfast Boys in College Park, Ga. Dope spot! Monday we would go see downtown Atlanta by ferris wheel and tour all the main attraction down there. Tuesday, hit a Taco Tuesday Mexican spot! Wednesday and Thursday maybe chill inside, binge watch some Netflix lol. Friday, oh it’s wherever. The night is young. Lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In this journey, I definitely would like to shout-out God! My strength, My Savior! But in human form Shayleen “Coach Shay”. She has been such a beautiful person to me. Always keeps me motivated to stay planted in my purpose. Truly the best mentor I could ever ask for. I was blessed to have her go through this journey with me. She knows how to inspire me to go hard and always trust in God. Her quote that she uses is ” God’s in everything”.
