Meet Panayotta Delinois Roberts | Founder – Scientific Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Panayotta Delinois Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Panayotta, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’m the founder of Delinois Roberts Scientific International. I’m a laboratory trained microbiologist turned scientific consultant who’s passionate about lab issues and systems. I started my consulting business because I want the flexibility of combining my skills (microbiology, informatics, multilingual, organization) into one entity that challenges me.

What should our readers know about your business?
My consulting focuses on assisting laboratories and life science teams improve efficiency by modernizing and optimizing workflows, documentation and operational readiness for emerging digital technologies.
What truly sets me apart is my well-rounded perspective- I started my career at the laboratory bench and successfully transitioned into informatics and system work. This blend of scientific and technical experience allows me to bridge the gap between people, process, and technology.
I’m also multilingual- speaking English, French, and Haitian Creole, with conversational Spanish- which helps me collaborate across diverse teams.
It wasn’t easy to take that first step towards entrepreneurship. With time comes clarity and I now know this is the best for me.
I’m still in the early stages of building my business, but I’m proud of the foundation I’m creating and for believing in myself.
As far as my business, I want the world to know I’m passionate about connecting science, people and systems- and helping laboratories evolve into the next era of scientific innovation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to eat! I would be taking her to brunch and dinner. I love a wine bar and great tapas style plates. I love to try different foods and would probably pick a different type of cuisine every day. We would go to museums and out walking around the city, looking at beautiful murals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends! Especially my children. As they continue to thrive, I think more and more about legacy. What type of world I pray they thrive in. Also, a part of why I started my business- the more I look at companies that interest me, I don’t see people who look like me. I want my children to know they have lots of options.
