We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamela Myles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?

At an early age, my Dad taught me the value of starting the day early to accomplish your goals. As a kid, I did not want to embrace this on a Saturday morning, but now I truly appreciate having this value permanently instilled in me. Today, I am excited about every day, and I embrace the opportunity to achieve my goals. I enjoy the quiet time of the morning, where I can get organized and be well prepared for the tasks for the day. This helps me to be more productive and accomplish my goals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I’ve worked in the IT field for over 20 years. I graduated with my MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, and I have received multiple certifications in process management throughout the years. While I was continuing to grow in my career, I knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur and control my own destiny. As I advanced in my career, I realized that I was giving a large portion of my time, which resulted in less time to enjoy the things that are important to me, especially my family. Over time, I planned out a way to give more time to my own businesses using the same work ethic that was instilled in me as a child. I transferred the hard work, dedication, and long hours from someone else’s business to my own business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The best time ever that I would share with a friend would begin at the Ponce City Market Place. We can shop, eat at a variety of restaurants and enjoy the beautiful views of the City. If we plan it correctly, we could enjoy a night of music at City Winery located in the same plaza. Next, I would enjoy a day of more shopping at Atlantic Station in Downtown Atlanta. For the evening, I would go to Humidors to enjoy a chilled glass of Myles Select Vodka, a Jerome Renae Cigar, great food and live entertainment. For Sunday brunch, I would go to Forks and Flavors to enjoy delicious food and a martini made with Myles Select Ultra Premium Vodka.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my ShoutOut to my loving and supportive husband, Regi Myles. When I originally shared the idea of creating a vodka brand, he embraced the idea, and he has been intricately involved in the success and growth of our brands and businesses. I so appreciate his support and I love him more every day!
