We had the good fortune of connecting with Onah Ifemedebe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Onah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I can honestly say I’m a born risk taker it’s just in me. The thought of not doing something I’m passionate the though alone doesn’t sit well with me…taking risk has played a better role career wise …it’s catapulted me in ways my comfort zone does not. I’m happy with my risk I’ve taken.It brings me awareness and lessons  of life’s limitless opportunities.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a Fashion designer way beyond garments! It’s really about purpose for me.I’m so much more than what I do/aspire to do! It comes to a point of self discovery.What sets me apart is I’m ME in its fullness… I always say no one can do it like you  … I mean that in the most humble way possible! This thing that I do creating ,uplifting,wanting people to truly live intentionally for a greater purpose is my contribution to the world …it sounds simple buts it’s become a rarity in the world…it’s through any form I choose whether that be fashion,speaking ,acting,styling it’s no limit on this thing…We all got our own thing I’m just a light walking in my purpose..I choose to embrace and sprinkle it around! I got where I am today by believing in myself truly from the inside out. I really believe in self development heavily. It’s a beautiful way to have self awareness  … I often tell people your greatest project will always be yourself! It starts with you…though you will always be on a journey of becoming…we know anything easy is not worth having… it definitely was trials along the way …none of us are exempt….but how I reacted in those moments is what has carried me this far! All I can say is never stop praying… life will definitely get to lyfin…you’ve  gotta reflect back on other situations you’ve overcome …. It’s definitely easier said than done …gotta keep fighting for a better day! Im just truly grateful of how far I’ve come on a soul level. I’ve learned that there are seasons for every thing don’t let todays pain write tomorrows beauties…I want the world to know nothing is impossible NOTHING! expand your mind in new heights and let God be the orchestrator of what he’s designed for you. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A soft break down honey first stop ima Papadeaux/Ruth Chris girl lol so let’s go chow … let’s tour Atlantic station and walk this food off lol … let’s head on down to Phipps we have to get cute! for the night…for a night out I’m a lounge girl  so that’s always been a nice vibe!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to God! all pun intended… As a creative or an entrepreneur whatever one wants to call themselves those gifts don’t come from self …It’s been given to us from above! I believe each person is a treasure with gifts that are within. You just have to unlock what’s it’s you. Gotta say Thank you Mom for the principal code that’s imbedded in me!
