We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia J Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olivia J, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Olivia J Price Realty Group empowers the community by promoting homeownership, providing financial literacy education, and offering mentorship programs for young women and aspiring real estate professionals. We also support essential workers through free home buying workshops and engage in grassroots efforts to uplift underserved communities. Through these initiatives, we aim to build stronger, more resilient neighborhoods and foster long-term financial growth for individuals and families. Unfortunately in our modern economy the cost of living is more expensive than ever, and the basic ways of life are becoming obsolete for example shelter. With the way our society is moving, they are moving us to become lifelong renters/tenants. In the Atlanta housing market, the average rent payment is $1400 and the average home price is $392,000. It is sad to say but 45% of our market is owned by investment firms who are buying up all of our houses from hard working citizens. These statistics are what makes our team work as hard as we do for our community and the reason why we encourage them to invest into homeownership. If you don’t buy now, we are afraid you will never get the opportunity again. Prices are not going down, and with the growth of Atlanta we are trending as one of the fastest growing cities in America and ranked #1 for business. This is why we do the work that we do, educating our community of these changes and how it’s not too late to build generational wealth in one of the best cities in the South.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Olivia J Price Realty Group, we stand apart by prioritizing education, empowerment, and community impact. Our approach goes beyond selling homes; we equip first-time buyers with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions and create generational wealth through homeownership. We’re proud of our commitment to inclusivity, mentoring young women, and creating pathways for those who may not have access to traditional educational routes.

The journey to where we are today has been anything but easy. Starting at just 21 years old, with no network or resources, I faced challenges like racism, sexism, and ageism in the industry. But I pushed through by staying focused, working hard, and leaning into my passion for helping others. I learned that resilience, adaptability, and staying true to my vision were key in overcoming those barriers.

One of the biggest lessons along the way has been the importance of community and collaboration. Building strong relationships and giving back are core values of our brand. I want the world to know that Olivia J Price Realty Group isn’t just about real estate — we’re here to uplift communities, break barriers, and inspire others to dream big, no matter the challenges they face. Our story is about turning obstacles into opportunities, and we’re excited to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area for a week, I’d create an itinerary that blends a mix of great food, culture, outdoor adventures, and hidden gems that truly capture the essence of Northeast Atlanta.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
One of the organizations that holds a special place in our heart is Kares for Kids which is a Keller Williams charity organization and this initiative should definitely be shouted out for the great work that they do.
-We fill thousands of book bags with school supplies every year to help our local school children get what they need.
-IIn 2016 we began donating thousands of books every year to help children learn how to read. Illiteracy is a serious issue.
-Each year at the holidays, we donate gift kards with a value of $75 each, to the “forgotten teenagers.” At that time of year, often the little children will be remembered, but unfortunately not the older children in need as it can be hard to know what to purchase for them
