Hi NYFROMNEXTDOOR, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is “ I Go Harder Cause I Know Where I Was At & I Know Where I Wanna Go “ & i live by that . It’s actually a lyric from Future. It means so much to me personally because nobody understands what it takes to be you and all the pain you go through from a younger age makes you go harder . I never let anything i go through hold me down i go through what i go through get through it and charge it to the game . All because what kept me back won’t hinder me from what I’m going to become and how I’m coming further .
What should our readers know about your business?
I have 5 Businesses which are Krayola Hair SlaughterShots ( SSHOTS) for short, Photography, All Editing Services, & Youtube ( nyfromnextdoor ) . I have been editing things since a child starting from the app called “ PicsArt “ which i sometimes use even now at this age . Growing up i always wanted to go to college and be a OBGYN . As I became a adult my dreams changed I now just want to work for myself I didn’t see myself going to college for years and working for someone or not having a guaranteed a job . My love for youtube came from me loving to vlog and making photos of my life . I started dying wigs on my 18th birthday i was so satisfied the way it first turnt out and the way it looked me made me super confident and eager to try more colors ! On myself and clients !!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite places to visit are parks , i love nature & picnics . Its so soothing and helps me clear my mind . I love shopping at Fayetteville Pavilion, because its laid back not so many people are there and it has variety of shops . I also love Perimeter Mall i love far out shopping places anywhere where it is less crowded i love to be .
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Starting out first i want to shoutout my “3DE Program “. I was back in high school I feel as if that helped me so much growing into a adult. First starting out i was super shy growing up and becoming older that program definitely brought me out my shell and made me more outgoing . I feel it is a amazing opportunity for all young adults . It gives them the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship, ownership , companies backgrounds and etc . It was a great help for me business and for my Adult Hood . I want to also give a shoutout to my siblings . I am the oldest of 3 “ Mekiel Morton “ , “ Heaven Morton “ , & “ Kavarri Albritton “ . Due to them when I want to give up I think of how I am the role model of them and they are my reason I continue .
