We had the good fortune of connecting with Nowayy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nowayy, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
Plenty times I’ve asked myself if I should just call it quits,I’ll be lying to you if I said I didn’t, everybody kinda want that overnight success, put ya mamma in a brand new house, buy all your loved ones anything they want, have a million dollars in your account and just really drive that foreign car into the sunset, after all the work you put in, all the late night studio sessions, money invested, that fantasy disappear and reality is right in your face, mom dukes still in the same house, your bank account is nowhere near a million, you still working your day job and that foreign car is a Nissan lol you getting better with music but ain’t getting no younger, that’s when you really have to dig deep with some soul searching and ask yourself what am I doing? Music too me is therapeutic it allows me to open up and speak on things I hold inside, without it I don’t know where I would be mentally, when you truly doing something you love you could never put a expiration date on it, music has got me through some of my darkest times as well as put me in some of my most darkest moments, this relationship is forever a work in progress, the older I get the less I care about blowing up, as long as my son and my wife is good that’s all that matters, as long as my mama continue to be proud of me (she’s my biggest fan) I will never give up what I love, making music

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Recording artist from the Eastside of Atlanta, what separates me the most is that I’m authentic, I’m not trynna imitate no one, I’m just telling my story in my way, I’m proud of all the features I’ve done with Derez deshon Yung Bleu and big rube of the dungeon family, just recently i did some features with overseas artist in Brazil that was real dope, it took a lot to get to this point, I started off writing verses at my mama house back then I was listening to j Cole and big krit heavy lol those are 2 of my favorite artist, i started of recording with TDP studios out in Lithonia, and also with my homie SkyHighTheProducer, that’s family, man it took a lot of time and money to get to this point, alotta of quitting and getting right back into it again lol my biggest lesson I’ve learned is if it’s genuinely something you love to do you can never put a expiration date on it, I want the world to know that I’m bringing back real life feel good music, I got records for just about anything you can be going through
