We had the good fortune of connecting with Nora Bonds and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nora, how do you think about risk?

Some people hesitate to go after what they want because it leaves them vulnerable and exposed to hurt, disappointment, and even ridicule. You will likely find that you care less about what people think and about what could go wrong, which is a powerful shift in thinking.

Even if you fall flat on your face, taking a risk is beneficial. From that, you’ll either get it right or it will give you the tools to regroup and try a different approach the next time.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of my latest endeavor Jenleeion Magazine launching in January 2021 after being a Creative Director for another publication that allowed me to network and build relationships with amazing professionals in the Fashion and Entertainment Industries.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let’s see….. My best friend Marty would definitely want to eat somewhere with amazing food, particularly steak and good drinks. Washington DC, has some amazing landmarks, restaurants and shopping districts.The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
