Meet Niyh Love | Hairstylist ,Mua, & Nail Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Niyh Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Niyh, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to pursue a creative career because I feel being creative gives you a sense of freedom in an artistic way. I get to express my creativity through my work providing clients with hair services, coloring services, makeup services, and nail services. Having a creative career doesn’t feel like a boring job, there is always new ideas , designs, looks, and colors I look forward to recreating and imitating. It has always been a dream of mines since the age of 14 years old to own my own luxury hair and nail salon. Creativity inspires other stylists, makeup artists, nail techs, and brands to collaborate with one another. With the ability to think outside the box my clientele constantly increases, I learn something new daily , and it improves my ability to attract and retain new customers.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I offer hair services , makeup services, nail & feet services, and I create custom handmade press on nails. I am most proud of the amount of knowledge and clients I’ve gained these last 3 years. I’m more excited about expanding my brand and collaborating with other artists to reach a wider target audience and increase sales. Practice , patience , and support from clients got me where I am today. Practicing different hair styles , color schemes , and nail designs enabled my ability to be more creative and recreate different looks and styles. Patience is key , without patience there is likely little to no progress. My clients have made this transition into the beauty industry easy for me by word of mouth and on the count of the outstanding services and installs. One lesson I have learned along the way is to take constructive criticism and make room for improvement. I am a beauty service provider looking to increase clientele , collaborate with beauty supply companies and brands.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Take a scenic hike or walk in a nearby park or nature reserve.

Visit a local museum, art gallery, or historical site.

Have a picnic in a beautiful outdoor location.

Try out a new restaurant or cafe that we’ve both have never checked out

Have a movie marathon outdoors with our favorite TV shows.

Go to a fun event or festival happening in the area.

The most exciting thing to checkout would be the satire Ferris wheel.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to give a big shoutout to my clients , customers, & supporters in Columbus, OH. Thank you ladies for the tremendous amount of support you all have dedicated to my creativity, business, and time. I would also personally like to thank Mrs.Renee Pitts who is an amazing nail tech located in Columbus, ohio. She has influenced me throughout my nail journey by consistently being helpful, her readiness to answer questions , share tips , and feedback.
