Meet Nitro Billy Goat | Rapper / Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nitro Billy Goat and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nitro Billy Goat, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being true to myself. I love how I can be myself and also bring what’s unique to me to the table. I rather people know what’s real because it’ll hit harder when you can relate. If I were to portray myself as something I’m not, I would have to be ready for whatever that were to come with it. My upbringing plays a role as well. growing up I went through enough struggling to ultimately want better for my family and myself.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been developing my own sound for a while now. Now I can finally showcase it because it’s been tinkered and tampered with for 4 years lol. I wasn’t well accepted at first. I can remember sounding really mono and dry in my earlier songs. But now I have Perfected my own sound. I engineer my own music and it sound amazing from what others tell me. What I learned from doing music is promotion is the key to having that “hit”. I have songs that were poorly marketed and it showed. it took me some time to even start performing. Everyday i just try to get 1 percent better. I know it will take some time, but it’ll be all worth the time, money, and effort.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like anything that gets people involved to be honest. I like to skate so sparkles or cascade would be a move. Atlantic station is a great spot because you can shop, see a movie, and eat in one trip. My favorite food is a 10 piece Hot lemon pepper with a peach no ice lmao. I go crazy every time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out My family and close friends for staying by my side through all of the hardship. I want to thank Ms. Delores Powell for not giving up on me! CKC (Cool Kids Committee) she gave me and the guys who were struggling in school an outlet to become a better person. Coach Jazz. 6Blanco. Rebel. Tayler. Cpc. Tradoe. Gabe. Colbreigh. just to name a few but I’m very thankful for y’all. Last but not least GOD!
