We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Bee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking is the heart of my pinup modelling, personal style, and everyday life. I never liked drawing inside the lines and have embraced rule-breaking as my fashion philosophy. I love mixing vintage pieces from different decades, combining my goth and girly styles, and creating looks that are unique and unexpected. Makeup is my playground, where I’m always trying out new techniques. When wardrobe malfunctions arise, rather than seeing them as setbacks, I view them as opportunities to innovate and improve, channeling my inner MacGyver to transform challenges into triumphs. This fearless approach to fashion not only enhances my style but also embodies the spirit of creativity and adaptability that defines true personal expression. For me, it’s all about stepping out of the comfort zone and making each outfit an adventure.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can always catch me at my favorite tiki bar: The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The women in the local vintage community and my pinup sisters in the Georgia Pinup Posse have been incredibly supportive. I’m constantly inspired by their creativity, talent, and the way they bring their unique styles to life. Being part of this vibrant community has fueled my passion and encouraged me to push my own boundaries.
