Meet Nik Arielle from Repump NYC | Event Producer & Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nik Arielle from Repump NYC and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nik Arielle, what do you attribute your success to?
Determination is definitely the most important factor behind the success of my brand. I started this event at 20 years old and I knew the goal was to create a staple event in New York City but I would’ve never imagined for Repump NYC to have grown to where it is now. I meet new people all the time and it’s a great feeling to know that this brand is recognized worldwide. Without determination, I know I wouldn’t have made it this far.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Event producing has many challenges especially when starting a brand from scratch. You fear that people won’t gravitate towards it and so many more negative things. Remain confident no matter what! Confidence is always key. Once people see your confidence in your brand, they will also believe in you. Show up for you so that others will show up as well.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would take her to Dumbo! It’s my favorite place in NYC. It has the most breathtaking views of the bridge and the restaurants in the area are ALL amazing. We have the same taste so I know she would love it. Who can say no to good eats and a great view?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family has always had my back throughout my entire journey and for that, I’m forever grateful. I couldn’t have done any of this without them.
