We had the good fortune of connecting with Niecey Josey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Niecey, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my career and brand is establishing my ‘why’. Impacting peoples lives and lifelong dreams is such an important part of the process that I continuously access daily as I make mistakes, open emails, conduct trainings and so forth. In such a fast paced industry, at times we can get discouraged or lost in worrying about results versus seeing the success along the way.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
With over a decade of learning experiences in the industry of fashion, business and media: the name Vinrelo became established in 2019 during the COVID – 19 pandemic, however as a celebrity stylist, my journey started 2017 from thrifting. Vinrelo stands for ‘Vintage Real Low’ in connection with deals and partnerships I was establishing in the industry. As I continued in professional development and learned about celebrity brand activations etc, my shift into branding began in 2019. Along the way the world has taught me, authenticity will always win. When people in spaces you desire to be in support you, it’s because they see the potential , drive and focus you have. From a small room in New York City to an office in Wall Street and Downtown Atlanta in less than two years is beyond anything I could ever imagine. To overcome those challenges, I would say keep your ‘why’ in the forefront of your conversations. My program ‘SFS’ is my screensaver to remind me of this process and what it means for many lives. The group of SFS community members are beyond inspiring as we impact the real-world and I’m constantly in awe of that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Hmm, a week long trip would definitely consist of shopping, thrift stores in Atlanta like: 2nd Street. They always have a variety of quality brands from your famous brand designers to emerging futuristic brands. Quality is definitely top of the listing when thrifting. For dinning: Bar Vegan, the service is always amazing and the food is great. In terms of places I would say: World of Coca-Cola. It’s so intriguing to learn the history and becoming a powerhouse brand. I think every time I go, I try to count the number of partnerships they have established. lol

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We thank the SFSATL division for seeing the value in the SFS platform for dedicated Stylists and Creatives seeking real-world placements and tangible resources. SFSATL Wardrobe Stylist – Deanna Durbin, founder of ElvaMae; has been an exemplary representation of the SFSATL private industry sector in showcasing her skill set, professionalism and proactive growth as a Stylist among the Atlanta fashion, business and media district.
