Meet Nicole Sims | Lifestyle Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Sims and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work-life balance as a mom and content creator is always evolving. In the beginning, I thought balance meant giving everything equal time, but I quickly learned that’s not realistic especially with little ones. Now, I see balance as more of a rhythm than a strict schedule. Some days, my focus is on work, and other days, my family needs more of me. Instead of chasing perfection, I’ve embraced flexibility.
I’ve also learned to set boundaries like scheduling content creation during nap times or after bedtime and giving myself grace when things don’t go as planned. Balance isn’t about doing it all at once; it’s about being present in the moment, whether I’m filming a reel or having snack time with my kids.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wear a lot of hats. I’m a full-time mom, wife, small business owner, educator, and content creator. My days are full, but every role I play is a part of my purpose. I started sharing my journey because I wanted to show other millennial moms that you can have it all just maybe not all at once, and definitely not alone.
There was a time when I thought I had to choose between motherhood, my passions, and my career, but I’ve learned that success looks different in every season. Some days, I’m deep in business mode; other days, I’m fully present with my kids. The key is giving myself grace, asking for help, and trusting that I’m building something that aligns with my family and my purpose.
I share my journey to encourage other women to chase their dreams while embracing the beauty (and chaos) of life. You don’t have to have it all figured out more of you just have to start.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I couldn’t do this without the love and support of my husband as he’s truly my rock. He believes in me even on the days when I doubt myself, and he steps in with the kids, encouragement, or even just a listening ear when I need it most. Having a partner who understands my vision and supports my dreams makes all the difference.
Beyond that, my community has been everything. The Maximize Crew has poured into me in ways I can’t even put into words. Being surrounded by people who push me to show up as my best self, who celebrate my wins and remind me of my “why” when things get tough, that kind of support is priceless. I’m so grateful for this journey, but even more grateful that I don’t have to do it alone.
