We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Gates and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Let me reference my favorite quote for my entrepreneurial journey. “The Hustle is a hoax!” There is no true definition of work/life balance. I used to believe that in order for my business to be a success I had to give my business 24 hours a day 7 days a week, no social life, very little family time, not to mention zero “me-time”.

I learned by trial and error that the balance comes by working smart not hard; having systems and procedures in place to allow my business to run on auto-pilot. I can now enjoy my favorite things: family time, me-time, travel and networking with like minded womenpreneurs.

I now work a 15 hour/3 day work week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). I use Monday for Professional & Personal Development and Friday as my planned “Me-Day” and I am more laser-focused and more productive. This change has afforded me the opportunity to spend more time doing income generating activities opposed to burning the candle at each end. I am more energetic, able to serve my clients better and feel like I can conquer the world!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The She-EO Unlimited serves womenpreneurs that are frustrated, stuck and unhappy with the headaches of trying to make ends meet and want to break the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck to follow their passion on purpose and pursue their dreams of entrepreneurship. We serve our clients by turning their life’s upsets into entrepreneurial assets!

I am the owner of The She-EO Unlimited an agency for female entrepreneurs who are and want to leave their 9 to 5 to pursue their passion on purpose. The She-EO Unlimited provides the business blueprint to make to allow womenpreneurs to think, work and execute on their own terms.

This was not an easy fete, finding the right fit for our collective has been instrumental to our success. Our team are all certified subject matter experts in the fields of Graphic Design, Business Development, Marketing, Branding, HR Management, Social Media Content and Media Relations! Together, we are able to accomplish more for our clients. We help our clients to build a vibrant, visible brand on their journey to financial freedom and legacy building using our own expertise and entrepreneurial experience as the blueprint.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
