We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business is a combination of what I am skilled in and what’s in demand. I am a solution-driven person who can see a strategy and create a plan for implementation. My business is solely Execution Coaching–but it also entails mindset and productivity.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a hybrid–building my business and working a “9-5”. I am most proud of being unashamed of my process–most people want to paint the picture that everything is perfect–I do not. Part of my brand is authenticity and I want people to see that there is more than one way to build your business–keeping your career and building simultaneously is okay. I have also learned that it is okay to pivot when necessary–whether it’s because you’ve grown as a person or your business no longer serves the audience you desire. Either way, it’s okay. Sometimes the pressure to be perfect online influences us to adhere to labels which leads to limitations. Effective Execution, my brand, is about creating your plan and getting it done–not someone else’s plan! Be true to yourself and the life you’ve been given–no pressure.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the outdoors–nature, hiking, water, views, etc. My “go-to” place is Stone Mountain. I also enjoy good food and live music–any place, whether a festival or lounge, is also a vibe. Not particular place because I am spontaneous.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been indirectly mentored by so many amazing people online. From Mia Ray and Myleik to Kobe Campbell (Trauma Therapist). I also have been encouraged by Lesley Osei to be bold and unapologetic in my faith, Felicia Kelly of Rich Black Woman Brand, and Nicole Walters. There are countless others, but these are the first that come to mind.
