We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
How hard we work and the strategies that we devise and constantly revise. throughout the process to ensure that each and every client has the best chance of making it to the closing table! Even though the home buying and selling process are essentially the same with every client, it’s the different players who are involved in each transaction that make it unique and different!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve been in Real Estate my entire adult life. I started in Class A Luxury Multifamily Apartments where I leased and managed the most exclusive communities in the Metro Atlanta area. What I loved most about the industry is you were able to see progression of peoples lives. They’d move in, date, acquire pets, change jobs, loose loved ones, get married, have children and then move on. I liked hearing about every stage of their lives and a lot of them called me when they got a promotion, their department downsized, grandma passed etc, I knew just about every resident personally so it made for easy interactions when property maintenance was needed, events were being thrown or checking up on past due payments. After over ten years in the Multifamily Industry I moved into Condo Management. I managed some of the largest condos that Midtown and Bucked had to offer. This was the toughest assignment I had. Many times, the mechanical inter-workings of those buildings were far beyond anything I’d ever seen. It challenged me to become a subject matter expert on the mechanics, HVAC, electrical, plumbing etc. so that I knew how to describe issues and on-going problems to corporate, the Master Board and the Residential board at a moments notice. After several years in this part of the industry I decided to transition into residential and commercial real estate sales. Another big learning curve. Even with being in this industry for over 20 years, there is so much that that I didn’t know even after I passed my test and received my Brokers License. Proper training and continuous education have always been my bedrock. Every quarter the market is shifting, every year our contracts update and we are responsible for making sure the right information gets out to the public. It’s a tall order and I absolutely love every minute of it. As I move into this next season of my career I want my past, current and future clients know that my goal is to help you get to the finish line. However long that takes. Whatever we need to do to position you to start your wealth journey and/or continue growing your wealth. Real Estate is a long term investment. When handled properly with the right longterm strategy in place it will not only yield wealth for generations, but pay off debt, allow you to take quality family vacations, pay for the best schools, extra curricular activities, college, retirement etc. It’s a life well lived. Me and my team are here to effortlessly get you there.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is my home! I’m a native of over 30+ years and I’ve seen so many changes to the city and with those changes new restaurants and hot spots have popped up all across the place! I have several places I frequent based on who’s company I’m in:

Eat: Hal’s Steakhouse, Flemings, Yebo, Toast on Lenox (Midtown) is a great brunch spot along with Hyatt Centric in Buckhead. Salt for something quick, The Garden Room and Atlas both in St. Regis, Wisteria in Vinings, Yao in Dunwoody (they give table massages and live music) , C&S Seafood Brookhaven, Zakia a Lebanese Resturant off Lenox Rd, Slutty Vegan a Vegan Resturant

Hang Out: Top Golf, Painted Pickle, High Museum (I love their Jazz Nights), Hiking along the Chattahoochee, Spa in St. Regis and Ritz Carlton, Putt Shack Midtown, BURN by Rocky Patel Cigar Bar in Truist Park , Run the Hills at Piedmont Park with Hill 4 Atlanta

I am a rooftop Queen! I LOVE a good rooftop, especially during sunset. I’d start at Spaceman at Hyatt centric, 5 Church in Midtown, Thompson Buckhead, Arnette’s Chopshop in Brookhaven, Grindhouse in Decatur, Gypsy Kitchen in Buckhead, Palo Santo West Midtown

A few more tourist attractions are: The Carter Center, MLK Jr. National Historical Park, Georgia Aquarium, Hawks or Falcons Game, World of Coke, Botanical Garden, Walk the Belt Line, Chick-Fil-A College Football Hall of Fame

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person that deserves the biggest shoutout is my mom. She has always been a supporter of my career from the beginning. she has given me great ideas, helped me stage homes, commercial offices and even assisted me in stuffing baskets and gift bags where needed for my clients and colleagues! The next shout out goes to my uncle, the myriad of mentors that have directed, shown up and held space for me in order to grow and expand my business. The experiences they have exposed me to, the advice that was given, and the opportunities presented to me on this journey through them were life changing.
