Hi Nicole, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact. I envisioned a space, like “Strengthening What Remains,” where widows could find support, encouragement, and a community to help them navigate through challenging times. The passion to empower others fuels my journey, and I’m excited about the potential for positive transformations within this community.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
With over 20 years as an entrepreneur, I’ve embraced the journey with passion, finding joy in the freedom of both raising a family and running my own business. What sets me apart is the unwavering faith in God, who has been my ultimate provider and guide. The challenges were real, but through faith and staying grounded in God’s word, I overcame them. I’m most proud of creating a space like “Strengthening What Remains,” where widows find support and encouragement. My story is one of resilience, faith, and the belief that, with God, anything is possible. I want the world to know that in every challenge, there’s an opportunity for growth, healing, and a stronger connection with the divine.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to Chateau Elan, a haven of tranquility. We’d start with a rejuvenating spa day, immersing ourselves in a place of peace, surrounded by lush landscapes and calming ambiance. We’d indulge in luxurious treatments, enjoy the vineyard views, and savor exquisite cuisine at the on-site restaurants. The winery tours and tastings would be a perfect blend of relaxation and sensory delights. Chateau Elan’s elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and diverse experiences make it an unforgettable destination for a week-long retreat.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My heartfelt shoutout goes to God, the unwavering source of grace and mercy that has been my guiding light. His presence has provided strength, healing, and purpose, enabling me to persevere through challenges and uplift others on their journey. The divine connection has been a beacon of hope, shaping my story and inspiring the mission of Strengthening What Remains.
