We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicky Partyka and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicky, what are you inspired by?
Artists, Architecture, Music, Plants, History, and just the beauty of life

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of myself.

For working hard, never giving up, and following my gut no matter how scared I was.

Which lead to a point where I have started my own business at the age of 25.

I dropped out of school and accepted the first construction job I could find.
Busted my back day in and day out while I fought the urge to give up, until I finally learned what the hell I was doing.

Tenacity & Grit were my biggest allies.

Lessons I learned along the way is don’t focus on what others are doing, pay attention but don’t let it consume you. We are all on our journey in life it’s not fair to compare yourself to others. It’s not healthy.

If the world could know one thing about me is that I think you should live life on your own terms. Don’t let fear & negativity mold who you are & scare you from what you truly want to do.

I created my own brand to show how hard work & a love for what you do can change the lives around you & take you places you didn’t think were possible.

My story is that I’m the only son of two Polish immigrants from the West Side of Chicago, I never played by the rules, didn’t take the beaten path, and still came out okay.
I want to inspire kids like me that just because you don’t have much it’s no reason to think that anything is unattainable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely East Atlanta Village, that’s where you could find me most nights.

Hit up The EARL and go to a show, Go kick it at the Flatiron, or slide to Octopus bar for some best late night food you’ve ever had.

The music scene here in Atlanta is unparalled, You can always count on your favorite artist making a stop here.
When you follow the music the people you’ll meet and the places you’ll see can change your life.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt my parents.

They risked their lives to flee the USSR & seek asylum in this country.

If it wasn’t for them there is no telling who or where I would be.
