We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Bugara and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nick, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?

I’ve always dreamed of starting my own business, one that fosters a work environment where I, and others, would love to be a part of. My journey through the corporate world, especially within billion-dollar companies, taught me a great deal about what I didn’t want in my own venture. I wasn’t a fan of strict dress codes or the unforgiving nature of timekeeping for minor lateness. Granted, its important to be on time but being written up for being 5 minutes late was a motivator to change things.

This dream led me to identify a unique niche in the app market—collaborating with everyday individuals who have brilliant app ideas. Unlike many app development firms that primarily cater to large corporations, Appsketiers is dedicated to the often-neglected segment of regular people. This decision has allowed us to work closely with true visionaries, providing a much more personal and rewarding experience than the typical business-to-business transactions. It’s our way of contributing back, by bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Appsketiers, we’ve taken a slightly different path with our unique three-tiered model for developing apps. Our approach is designed with you in mind—especially if you’re someone with a fantastic idea but perhaps not ready to make a big financial commitment right out of the gate. We’re proud to offer the most affordable starting point in the country for app development, just $495. This gives everyone a chance to try out our process, and if it resonates with you, we’d be thrilled to take you further in your development journey.

Gaining recognition as the app development company with the most 5-star reviews in the USA is a title we hold dear, but it’s not something we’ve achieved overnight. It’s been a journey filled with learning from our mistakes and growing through them. We believe the real secret to our success is the people we choose to bring on board. Its extremely important to have patience in finding the right team members. It’s the incredible team around us, dedicated to their work and our collective vision, that has allowed us to grow and hopefully continue to make a difference.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you had a friend in town, I’d definitely take them to check out all the awesome food spots in Atlanta. My top pick is Eclipse di Luna – it’s a tapas place with cool Latin tunes and killer mojitos. If I ever can’t decide where to eat, that’s where you’ll find me. For some fun outside of just eating, The Battery is where it’s at for a good time with friends before a baseball game. Other than that, its hard to beat The Beltline. Always something new to explore down there.
