We had the good fortune of connecting with Nichole Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nichole, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Hi my name is Nichole Campbell a native of Augusta, Ga. I was born and raised here. Growing up in Augusta in a very close family has taught me many things. My grandma Anna Jean Elam Quiller made sure we were brought up in church and of course you know that involved all of my siblings and cousins. We were close and that meant we spent a lot of time together. Coming from a close knit family taught me love the love of family. It also taught me to always make sure those around me are cared for. It also taught me about giving. My grandma was the type of person that no matter who you were she would feed you. It didn’t matter if all of her children grandchildren were at her house she fed everyone who was as in the yard. She was a giver whether it was a listening ear, money for your pockets, or something to eat my grandmother gave. My parents were the same way and it passed down to me. I love to see people happy and whatever I can do I will try my best to do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am also a certified life and a certified mentor for business coach. I am the founder of The Sisters Social Inc. here in Augusta, Ga . A local non profit who The Sisters Social Inc. is purposed to unite women of different backgrounds, aimed to provided entrepreneurial education, professional networking, and community outreach. I am a WJBF Giving your Best Award recipient. This journey has not been easy but it has been worth it. There’s more work to be done. The challenges I have faced have grown me as a person so I’m grateful. I take each challenge I am faced with head on and get through. I’ve learned there’s nothing too hard for God ! So with him I’m good !

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The crazy part about it my schedule fills up so fast I rarely get time out but if I had to recommend anything we will go eat. A few restaurants I like are Top Crab or Juicy crab because I am a lover of seafood. Definitely we will go downtown there are plenty of restaurants and bars down there. Mexican restaurant I’ll go to Rio Cantina by Srp park in North Augusta or Salsas in Augusta. Definitely will go bowling, Dave a busters, or Top Golf.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to first recognize my mom. My mom has been the driving force behind every thing I decide to do. She has helped raise my children and supported me throughout this journey. Secondly my children Steven and Nikayla they are my reason. I wake up daily and do what I do for them. My entire family no matter what I ask they are there. Then there’s the ladies of The Sisters Social Inc. Tashia , Alexis, Shandra, Tiffany, Reishal, Deomina, Nalisa, and Shonivia. These ladies each run their own business but we make up The Sisters Social Inc. and they have been my backbone through it all.
