We had the good fortune of connecting with Nichel Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nichel, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Other than deciding to work for myself, the single most important decision I’ve made that is contributing to my success is learning to heal from past trauma. A lot of times we don’t realize how our past encounters have molded us into the person we are now. I had to fully commit to my self journey in-order to see consistent results from my business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Everything I do, I do from a place of purity and love. I move with intention and do what feels right for myself and my business. I’m most proud of my growth and willingness to learn and scale. This hasn’t been a easy road, however when I focus and move with intention and clarity it makes it much easier. At times we get distracted with the world around us and that was one of my challenges. I wanted to be further than where I was and wasn’t focusing on actually growing and doing the work to get there. Once I realized I was holding me back I couldn’t continue to be a disadvantage to myself, there needed to be change. I want the world to know that the purity in my heart overflows into my business and I believe that is what sets me apart. When I speak to my customers I often hear that I’m so sweet, caring, attentive and that’s because I am. Myself and brand will become a household name for women can confidently go to for their business, life and needs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here’s the thing… I’m such a homebody/introvert and my friends know this lol I really love being in my peace in my space. However I do love fun, artistic, calming, educational activities. So we’ll do some type of painting or crafts, my best friend will most likely make us do something adventurous. I’m not adventurous at all, but I’m willing to try almost anything at least once for the experience. Now, what I can say is I’m a foodie to the core lol I love a good meal. No matter the time or day I’m down to grab a bite at a new restaurant.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person who’s been with me from the beginning… my mom. I couldn’t do this without her. She has supported me with any idea, adventure, business I’ve thought about and she is one of my biggest inspirations and support system. When I’ve doubted myself or felt as I wasn’t the best she will always be there to speak life into me and reassure me that I’m meant for this. I can’t imagine where I’ll be without her by my side.
