We had the good fortune of connecting with Nekeith Mitchell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an Actress, Dancer, Model and Music Artist. What sets me apart from others is that I am a triple threat and my work ethic. I am most proud of where I am today in my life, It’s a dream come true to wake up and do what you love. I am really excited to see what will happen in the future but for right now I am excited to hit the stage for my upcoming tour. I love traveling and meeting my supporters. My Royalties and I have a special connection that is out of this world. It was not any easy road to get to where I am today but I am thankful for every moment. I have overcome my challenges by my faith in god and my family. One lesson that I have learned is that life is too short to be shy. I want to show the world and the LGBTQIA+ community to love yourself for who you are and I want to prove that dreams are possible for anyone!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My two favorite spots in the city is Howell’s Kitchen and Bar and The Juicy Crab. Anyone that is close to me knows that I love a low key spot that’s a vibe and I am a major seafood fan.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a huge Shoutout to my Royalties! My supporters have been rocking with me since the beginning of it all starting in 2016. I am forever grateful for their unconditional love and support. Its been a long journey in the music industry and I am so thankful for everything!
