We had the good fortune of connecting with Nate Mansions and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nate, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Mainly the physical and mental toll it does on our bodies from the matches, the travel and everything in between.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I know a lot of people out there think that Wrestling is easy and Wrestling is this and that, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. There’s a lot of hard work, dedication and sacrifices I make, and will make in order to keep improving and broadening my audience. Every single time I’m interacting with people and every single time I’m in the ring I always try to give it my best, and make sure that the audience remembers some thing from the show. One thing that I want the audience and the world to know is that there is always a way out; and if you work hard enough and try your best every single day you will make it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, I like this one; I just had a whole day in Atlanta just the other day and it was perfect. So we got there around lunchtime and we ended up going to the vortex and we got some fantastic burgers there. Then we ended up going to the Coca-Cola museum and we were there for about a couple of hours. Then we went to BoruBoru for Sushi burritos and they were amazing (I’d definitely recommend that place to anyone). Then we finished the night off, going to center stage to go see a comedy show. It doesn’t seem like a lot but it was a very good relaxing Saturday.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I know this sounds a bit cliché, but Honestly it would have to be wrestling. Because I know for a lot of people wrestling is the only thing they have. There are a lot of kids out there who have broken homes who go through a lot of stuff at such a young age and their outlet is Wrestling. I remember being a kid and being so excited for Friday night to watch wrestling. That was one of the most exciting nights of my week and I knew as long as I made it through the week I can relax and watch wrestling on a Friday night.
