We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Lee Martin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalie, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I am a visionary to visionaries, a master teacher, speaker, and business life coach specializing in helping my clients gain clarity. My passion is truly to help visionaries, entrepreneurs, and business owners find longevity and success in the marketplace. During the pandemic, I wrote and published four books, two of which have become Amazon’s #1 Best Seller.

As a former educator for 20+ years, I understand that although concepts and principles don’t change very much, methods do. So using my background in education and the demand from the market for trustworthy business coaches, I began taking online business courses to gain the fundamental knowledge of the marketplace. This along with my faith and passion to merge ministry and business, I have been able to help hundreds of people find clarity in life and business over that last 3 years.

I have recently launched the Clarity to Execute Academy where my students get access to coaching, online courses, and a community of like minded individuals ready to make a lasting impact in the marketplace. My students represent various sectors in the marketplace; real estate, beauty, business, coaching, consulting, and real estate. My primary work is done with 4 & 5 figure entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about 10x-ing their income.

My method involves bridging the gap between who the entrepreneur is and who he/she needs to become. That work does not only include mindset and strategy but spiritual as well. I believe that every human is a spiritual being living in a body and has a soul (mind, will, and emotions). As a Business Life Coach, we work on transforming the visionary mind, body and spirit. This is very much different to your average Business Coach. But again, I am not your average coach.

“According to data from the Small Business Administration (SBA), small businesses create two-thirds of new jobs, increased competition among businesses, and are often the forces behind innovation and positive adjustments in efficiency.” (USAFacts.org) My business helps the economy flourish and thrive and my work directly impacts the heart and soul of the entrepreneur. My favorite book says, “What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul?”

The work done in my business and Academy goes deeper than gaining money but wealth which includes time, relationships and purpose freedom.

What should our readers know about your business?
So I always ask each client I interview one question: Do you believe that God called you to business?

I ask this question because when things got extremely difficult in my business all I had to keep me going was my faith. I knew that this was a calling and not a hobby, or a decision out of my own will. That confidence has been my anchor. Building a business has got to be more than a desire, it has to be a calling following by an intentional decision. One that you have to make each day as you continue to build and grow.

Secondly, I had to trust that I was the right person for the position. I had to be confident that what I had was enough and whatever I need I will acquire along the way.

And finally, my end result. I had to sit what what I wanted to see at the end of all of this building. For me it’s legacy. Everything I do today directly impacts my children tomorrow. It’s about legacy, baby! Every visionary deserves to see the vision with clarity, build their business with confidence and grow their legacy for the next generation.

For anyone that’s in the beginning stages of building their business my advice would be to learn. Learn as much as you can about business and the marketplace. Embrace failure and be open to learn from those failures because it always increase your credibility as you show people you are human. Humans love to buy from other humans. And making mistakes is part of being human.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So living in Augusta, GA, two hours east of Atlanta I always take my friends and family out to eat. Starting with lunch (I don’t eat breakfast) the famous Farmhaus Burgers, a local burger joint with an amazing menu and views. We might swing by my favorite photographer’s, Lineka Michelle, studio where we can get some candid shots done real quick for memories and then we go for a nice stroll in Evans Towne Park. If we take the kids they can enjoy some time at the park and finally, we eat dinner at the historical Patridge Inn by Hilton.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The one book that has made an impact on my business and revenue is, “Stories That Stick” by Kindra Hall. Stories do to the mind what music does to the soul.

Storytelling helps to emotionally connect people to a business, product, or service. People are more likely to engage with or purchase something when they feel an emotional connection to it. It is an effective way to convey complex ideas. When businesses are trying to explain a complicated concept, storytelling can be used to make it much more digestible and relatable.

Storytelling also helps build customer trust and loyalty. When customers hear a story about a business, product, or service, they are more likely to remember it, which can lead to trust and loyalty. It really helps to differentiate a business from its competitors. Every business has a unique story, and when customers are exposed to that story, it can help set them apart from their competitors. Story telling was the one thing that differentiated me from other life coaches and business coaches. Although in the beginning, I had very little quantitative data to show why I was the best coach for clients, because of strategic story telling, customers were willing to take a chance on me and my ability to produce results.

My goal in the beginning of my career was to tell better stories using the framework I learned in the book; normal explosion, new normal. When things are normal, they are how they are. The way things were before something changed. When an explosion occurs, something happens that requires a change. Good or bad, just different.

And finally the last part of the framework new normal, things are different. Describe what life is like after the client started using your product or service. This framework is simple and has helped me increase my clientele and revenue within 12 months.
