We had the good fortune of connecting with Naromy K. Tassy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naromy K., what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Consistency, prayer, and self-discipline. Those three habits have anchored me the most. I’m not always motivated, but I’ve trained myself to show up even when it’s hard. Real estate and entrepreneurship come with highs and lows, and without consistency, it’s easy to get lost in self-doubt.

I also prioritize quiet time with God to stay grounded. That habit helps me hear myself clearly and make decisions with peace, not panic. Lastly, I keep a habit of writing things down, whether it’s goals, ideas, or things I need to process. That small act has helped me stay organized, focused, and aligned with my vision even during tough seasons.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the principal agent of The Tassy Group, a real estate firm based in Georgia, currently operating under eXp Realty, LLC. My business was born from a desire to create a more personal, educational, and empowering experience for clients navigating real estate. Whether it’s a first-time buyer, an investor, or a growing family, I pride myself on helping people feel confident and informed throughout the process.

Before launching The Tassy Group, I worked in commercial property management. That experience gave me the foundation in operations and client service, but I knew I wanted to build something of my own. Something rooted in excellence, service, and heart. Starting over wasn’t easy. I had to rebuild from the ground up, often juggling motherhood, financial stress, and moments of uncertainty. But I kept showing up. I leaned into my faith, stayed consistent, and reminded myself that I wasn’t just building a business, I was building a life aligned with purpose.

What sets The Tassy Group apart is how we care. Real estate can feel overwhelming, especially when you don’t know where to start. I make sure every client feels seen, supported, and never rushed. It’s not about chasing numbers it’s about creating meaningful results and long-term relationships.

I’m most proud of the trust I’ve earned, clients referring their families, returning for their next purchase, or just reaching out for advice long after closing. That’s when I know I’ve done my job well.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it’s quiet, steady, and rooted in the decision to keep going even when no one’s watching. I want the world to know that my story is still being written but every chapter is guided by faith and the belief that where you started doesn’t define how far you can go in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my best friends and I link up, it’s all about good vibes, great food, and making lasting memories. Even though we all live in Georgia, we still make time to explore the city like tourists. I’m definitely a theater girlie, so if there’s a show at the FOX Theatre, that’s always a must. I also have a deep love for the art. Recently, we visited Virgil Gullah, which beautifully highlights Gullah culture, and Block & Drum, a space full of creative energy and expression. I’m always drawn to places where culture and community meet.

If we’re feeling outdoorsy, I love walking the Atlanta BeltLine taking in the murals, catching street performances, and browsing through pop-up shops and galleries along the way. One of my favorite places to go to on a Friday night is the High Museum of Art. Good music, wine, and an amazing crowd. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

When it’s time to dance, you’ll definitely catch us at a spot playing Kompa, Reggae, or Afrobeats. Whether it’s Sivas Midtown, Rock Steady, or a pop-up day party, I’m there for the energy and the vibes.

Sundays are for resetting, so we head to Change Church to get spiritually filled, then follow it up with a well-deserved brunch. It’s the perfect way to close out a week of fun, culture, and sisterhood.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Success is never a solo journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support system that has carried me through. First and foremost, I give all honor to God. His grace, strength, and divine timing have guided every step of my path. I also want to shout out my family, who continue to inspire me daily. Their love, resilience, and belief in me keep me grounded and motivated.

I’m also thankful for the friends, mentors, coaches, and real estate professionals who have poured into me along the way. Whether through direct guidance or simply leading by example. Their wisdom helped me shift my mindset from just being an agent to becoming a true business owner..

And lastly, a big shoutout to me for not giving up, even when it would’ve been easier to walk away. For choosing growth over comfort. For showing up when results seemed scarce. I’m proud of the woman I’ve become, and I’m still becoming.
